for the grown-ups
Version 2026-07-24 · Written in plain language, on purpose.
You must be 18+ to create an account. Children never sign in, never type into an account, and never see a sign-up form.
No child names in required fields, no birthdays, no photos, no voice recordings, no location, no contacts. A first name typed into a story prompt is optional and is deleted with the prompt.
No ads, no ad networks, no sponsored content, no in-story purchases, and no behavioural profiling of anyone — child or adult.
There are no analytics SDKs, no social pixels, no session-replay tools and no marketing tags in the app. Optional product analytics are aggregate-only and off unless a grown-up turns them on.
What you type to create a story is stored only to make and troubleshoot that story, then hard-deleted automatically after 30 days. You can delete it sooner from your account.
One button downloads everything we hold. Another deletes your account, your stories, your artwork and your prompts for good — no email, no waiting period.

Under COPPA and the GDPR, a parent or guardian can see everything connected to their account, withdraw any permission, and have it all erased. In Littl Tale those controls live in your account — no forms, no support queue.
Who we are. Littl Tale is an interactive storybook made for families. The account holder is always an adult; children experience the app by reading along with that adult.
What a grown-up gives us. An email address, an optional display name, the words typed to create a story, and payment records if a credit pack is bought. That's the whole list.
Please don't type personal details. Story prompts are checked before submission and we'll ask you to remove things like phone numbers, addresses, emails or school names. A child's first name is fine and is deleted with the prompt after 30 days.
Who else sees it. Our hosting and AI providers process story prompts and artwork solely to generate your story under contract. They may not use it to train models on your content, and there are no advertising or data-broker recipients.
Public stories. If a grown-up marks a story public, only the story text and artwork are shown — never an email address or the prompt behind it. Visibility can be switched back at any time.
Changes. If we materially change this notice, we bump the version and ask grown-ups to review it again before creating another story.
